What we believe
Exercise is a tool that encourages physical and mental discipline. It's an avenue where the human body can express itself and receive real world feedback. Instead of thinking of exercise as an exclusive space, we feel that exercise can serve a greater purpose to all as a development of the whole person. At Physical Philosopher CPT, we hope to help others express their physical potential through our various services.

About me
Way back when I was in middle school, my dad had taken me to the gym. It seemed like it would be a novelty trip where I would try to keep up with my dad and what seemed out of the ordinary eventually developed into a regular routine after school. I didn't know this then, but what my dad did would lay the foundation for the rest of my life and develop a relationship to exercise that I would never lose.
The lessons I had learned in the gym would carry over to my commitment in other areas whether that be school, work, sports, etc. The liberating feeling of conquering yourself through exercise can spread to other aspects of your life and can be a motivating force. I knew this was a tool that could help people's lives for the better. I love the pursuit of self-knowledge through philosophy and other works, but also have a formal education background as a current MBA student. I appreciate the value of learning and the importance of teaching. Although I understand the value knowledge can bring, in the search of mental knowledge, it seems we abstain from the physical disciplines of the world around us. I always thought that to create a more balanced life it is important to encompass both. I wanted to help people understand this and develop a healthy relationship with exercise.
Just recently in 2021, I decided to pursue my dream of helping others through exercise and became a certified personal trainer. No matter the goal, I'm committed to helping those I train to have that "Aha moment" that I did so many years ago by keeping their mind and body strong.
